The International Association of Lions Clubs originated in Chicago in 1917  (International History).  Just 5 years later, the Pine Bluffs Lions Club was sponsored by the Kimball (Nebraska) Lions Club.

 

The Pine Bluffs Lions Club one of about 57 clubs in District 15, which encompasses all of Wyoming. Our members are among the 1.3 million men and women in over 45,000 clubs residing in 200 countries and geographic areas around the world.

 

Three years after the Pine Bluffs Lions were chartered, Helen Keller challenged all Lions to become "knights of the blind to crusade against darkness." (Helen Keller's Speech)

 

Since then, the Pine Bluffs Lions Club has served our local, regional, national, and international neighbors in supporting vision projects.  We also are actively involved in numerous youth and community service projects.
